She was arrested and brought to police station allegedly for stealing a purse. The lady constable slapped her as part of her ritual, but she didn’t utter a single word. It took me no time to read through the un-told pain behind her silence. However, she was released due to lack of precedents, presuming that this was her first offence. But somehow my intuitions didn’t let me relent and end matters there! I followed her in the slum dwelling and found that her husband was suffering from severe typhoid fever. I took him to the doctor, purchased some medicines and donated a month’s salary and that was the happiest moment of my life.
Salute to you sir !.
