A 17 year old boy builds a bamboo bridge in 7 days to helps kids get to school everyday. Salute
Eshan Balbale, a 17 year old boy from Mumbai has turned out to be a Hero especially for the kids at Sathe Nagar. Eshan studies in Class XII at the Bedekar College in Thane, He has built a proper bamboo bridge to walk across a stream of dirty industrial slush for those regular school going kids of the vicinity so that they don’t have to walk in that particular dirty stretch of road ever in their life while going to school.
Complains were unheard and so the locals had to live in an unhealthy condition. However, parents decided to not let their kids walk through the chemical waste as it could be extremely harmful to their health. The only other road to the school is a 1.5-kilometer detour and there is hardly any auto-rickshaw available in the area. Even schools saw high dropout rates of the kids who came from Sathe Nagar.
